Why This Blog About Peace And Sustainable Development

Hi,

 Pride and Prejudice was written in1796 / 97. It has stood the test of time. Why? Because Jane Austen wrote about the upper and upper middle classes in a way that resonates perfectly with our human situation. 

October 17, 2024, Hi, Pride and Prejudice was written in1796 / 97. It has stood the test of time. Why? Because Jane Austen wrote about the upper and upper middle classes in a way that resonates perfectly with our human situation. Elizabeth's Bonnet Pride and Prejudice resonates because from the time of hunkering in caves to the time of living in outer space, only our toys have changed. Our civility and morality is a gossamer web that dissolves quicker than sugar in a tropical thunderstorm. It is my intent to explore the history of attempting to bring Peace to an ever violent and brutal humanity. If I was going to work on this topic to earn a Doctoral in Peace and Sustainable Development, the completed dissertation would take between three and five years of dedicated work. I'm 73 and not at all sure that I shall have another three to five years. So, I'm doing this investigation as a blog. Will anyone other than myself will ever take this blog seriously? Only time will tell. Nevertheless, it is my hope that somewhere down the line I will inspire others to explore the possibilities for a true Peace with Sustainable Development. Brian
